COCECATI

COCECATI was founded on October 22, 2010. With the mission to foster continuous education and excellency for critically ill patients’ care in Central America and the Caribbean, COCECATI has played a vital role in the evolution of Critical Care Medicine and Intensive Care.

Since its inception, it has held fairs, workshops and delivered courses to keep its members updated, and it has had a significant contribution to the progress of Critical Care Medicine and Intensive Care in the region.

Articles of Incorporation:

Continuous Education:

COCECATI is committed to fostering continuous education of its members, with the purpose of ensuring excellency and a quality culture in the care of critically ill patients.

Regional Union:

COCECATI is a regional entity that shelters the associations of Critical Care Medicine of Belize, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Cuba and Puerto Rico, fostering unity and collaboration in the field of Critical Care Medicine and Intensive Care.

Health Improvement:

The organization seeks to assist in measures that improve individual and collective health in the field of Critical Care Medicine and Intensive Care.

Development and Progress:

COCECATI woks to promote the development, progress and union of Critical Care Medicine and Intensive Care in the countries of Central America and the Caribbean.

Scientific Investigation and Academic Education:

The organization fosters scientific investigation and academic education, as well as the union work to make advancements in the field of Critical Care Medicine and Intensive Care in the region.
